Hello! Welcome back to a new challenge here at the Hotspot! You may have noticed we've started over at 1 you also may have noticed a few changes taking place this month. I am so excited to say that I am teaming up with Sue from McMahon Five Designs! So I thought it was fitting to start back at 1 to kick off our "new" Hotspot Challenge. We have also expanded our design team to include more talented designers to inspire us all! This also means that the winner of the $25.00 digi prize will now have an even bigger selection of images to choose from! Including McMahon Vintage Digitals, Vintage Vanities, McMahon Digi Designs, Solocosmo Digi Stamps, The Fairydoodler and Studio 313 Exclusive Creations! In addition to that we will occasionally give away a blog candy package, starting this month with this beautiful package of nature inspired products donated by Sue McMahon! These are some beautiful examples of Natural Elements used in home design and fashion! Check out the awesome tiny putting green ring, it actually contains living grass! A few other idea's for some Natural elements you might like to try are,
hemp cord,
raffia,
twine,
pressed/dried flowers,
mulberry paper flowers,
sea shells,
sand,
twigs,
grasscloth,
moss,
wooden buttons,
cotton/twill ribbon,
dried herbs,
coffee beans(on a coffee themed card, your card will smell good too!),
natural fiber paper,
or how about really changing it up and using...
Real Wood Paper? You have time to order and still use it for this challenge!
You do not have to use any of our images to enter the challenge but if you have some we would love to see what you do with them! ;) The theme this month is to use Natural Elements on your cards, meaning something created by nature! Every where you look you see natural elements popping up! From Jewelry to decor for your home I'm sure your finding it in all of your favorite shops, but you only have to step outside to find inspiration. I love it myself, it fits my personal style to a T so I hope you enjoy this challenge as well! My home is full of natural earthy pieces and most of my jewelry is wooden or made from shells! As one of my favorite Artist said "If one truly loves nature one can find beauty everywhere.- Vincent VanGogh" Just link your project up here before midnight on February 28th and remember to link back to this post on your blog. When the new challenge starts on March 1st a winner for the digi prize will be announced as well as a separate winner for the blog candy.
