HSC3 - Earth Day and Trash Art!

Hello Ladies! Can you believe it is April already? Spring has sprung! Everything is in bloom, the World is waking! Which brings us to this challenge, most of you know we celebrate Earth day in April so in honor of that this month we are challenging you to get creative and recycle, repurpose or alter something that might otherwise fill the earth with more junk! I know it's a small thing but if we could only remember to do this in our daily routines maybe it would help a tiny bit! Besides once you try to see things through different eyes and get the ball rolling you will think of tons of creative idea's for your "trash" or maybe you could pull outone of those containers you've been saving because maybe SOMEDAY you'll use it to make SOMETHING! That's right, I know you have a secret stash ;) My husband just shakes his head, men just don't get the crafter's mentality! We would LOVE to see what you can come up, show us as many creative idea's as you would like! Here are some cool links I found inspiring that you might enjoy! Non Trashy Trash Art, Nature Inspired Photo's on hongkiat.com(amazing surreal art!), 40 Terriffic works of Art Made From Trash I thought these were a lot of fun! Oh but wait! we have winner's! The winner for our regular 25.00 in digital images is Sammibug congrats! Email me at studio313creations@yahoo.com to collect on your prize! And thank you ALL for playing, we really enjoyed all of your entries! And we are awarding our first ever Wall Of Fame star and it goes to Betty Benton! Congrats to you too! As always we'll see you back here this time next month to announce the next winner of the $25.00 digi gift certificate(good on ANY digital image at M5D), and our next Star Player! Please sign up for the M5D newsletter HERE to stay up to date on our newest digi's and FREEBIES and challenge announcements! Any image you see at our challenge can be found at the McMahon Five designs store, but you can use ANY image to play in our challenge! Just link back to us in your post! I recycle All the time when making my projects. Looked at the re-cycle sites--on the 40 etc,---- site, I think the pens lamp and the little bots are great; some of the others not so much--but it still inspires me to continue my recycling. will enter the challenge!! P.S. Love all the M5D team projects--wonderful as in every challenge!

There is gold in trash as some would say, it just takes patience and a little creativity. Being creative is one aspect that I am very proud of...
